Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take this day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude of 11,500 ft. It's essential to relax and allow your body to adjust to the thin air. In the evening, take a short walk to the Leh Market, explore the local cafes, or visit the nearby Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh city. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, start exploring Leh’s key attractions. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, dedicated to Indian soldiers, followed by Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the scenic Sangam Point where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Later, explore Leh Palace and relax at Shanti Stupa during sunset. Overnight stay in Leh.
Today, you’ll drive to Nubra Valley via the world’s highest motorable road, Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft). Enjoy stunning landscapes and snow-covered peaks en route. After descending into the Nubra Valley, explore the beautiful Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride on the sand dunes of Hunder. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Post breakfast, begin your scenic journey from Nubra to Pangong Lake, one of the most picturesque lakes in the world. Travel along the Shyok River route, known for its rugged beauty and raw Himalayan charm. On arrival at Pangong Lake, admire the mesmerizing changing colors of the water and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay in a camp near the lake.
Wake up to a serene sunrise over Pangong Lake, followed by breakfast. Then, drive back to Leh via the adventurous Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). Stop at Tangtse village for tea and light snacks. Reach Leh by evening, and enjoy your last night in the heart of Ladakh. Overnight stay in Leh.
